STEM Elementary - Coming in Fall 2025

OVERVIEW
We are thrilled to announce that the Dayton Regional STEM School will expand our current education model and serve elementary grades. Starting in the fall of 2025, we will begin a phased-in approach by adding grades K, 1, 2, and 4. By the following school year, we will expand to grades K-5. Plans are in the works to break ground on a new elementary building to house our youngest Innovators in the fall of 2024. This marks a significant step forward in STEM's goal to provide cutting-edge STEM education to a broader spectrum of students and meets the expansion priority outlined in our current Strategic Plan. It is because of the ongoing support of the Dayton community and the State of Ohio that we are able to increase our footprint and our impact over the coming years. We look forward to many more years of educating the future innovators and leaders of our state and nation.

NEW STUDENT ADMISSIONS
As a public independent STEM school, students are admitted via a lottery process. To enter the lottery, an admissions application is required. The New Student Elementary Application (grades K, 1, 2, and 4 only) will be available on January 13th, 2025 for the 2025-2026 school year. The application is due on March 21st, 2025 and notifications of the lottery results will be emailed in April. Several visit opportunities will be hosted throughout the winter at the current 6th-12th grade building for prospective families. Sign up now to receive email updates about visiting STEM, application news, and more from our admissions team.
